Track Day Friday 30th April @ Wakefield Park
PR Technology is holding their second track day for 2010 at Wakefield Park on Friday the 30th of April.
This day will again be run with an open pit lane (excepting extraordinary circumstances), with a limited number of 25 drivers.
Open pit lane means there are no groups or sessions, so you may then spend as much time on the circuit as you wish!
This is invaluable for driver training & car setup, as you can go back out and try any car changes or instructors suggestions immediately.
This is the day before the second Porsche Club NSW- PR Technology SuperSprint for 2010 at the same circuit. Those that attended our last day will attest this has to be the best preparation possible.
The entry fee of $330 per driver includes racetrack entry, ambulance, pit lane garages and professional instruction for all.
The 2009 Australian GT winning PR Tech Racing team will also be available for car setup enquires, driving advice & mechanical or emotional assistance.
This could be the best value track day on the calendar.
The canteen will be open for breakfast and lunch, and also provides a quiet retreat for those times when one needs to reflect,………or brag!
Multi champion race driver, professional instructor and general good bloke Barton Mawer will be available to all for driver tuition and car setup advice.
Bart is also looking for expressions of interest from anyone that would like to be taken for “Hot Laps” with him in his 997 Carrera Cup car.
Rides would cost $500, which is cheap for a once in a lifetime experience, and a bargain if you know what one of these cars actually costs to run.
Please reply to Bart at email@example.com if you would like a ride in his race car, or if you have someone you would like to treat (or scare)!
Unfortunately our usual roost at Mikes Manor is temporarily closed.
Our new venue for accommodation is Trappers Motor Inn www.trappers.com.au
All the usual suspects from the Porsche club will be staying at Trappers, to tell tales in the bar around the open fire and to plan their lap times for the Supersprint the following day.
Please contact Trappers yourself to arrange accommodation.
PR Tech will also be providing our usual dedicated Trackside Support service for anyone that is interested.
Please direct inquiries and confirm bookings at firstname.lastname@example.org or phone us on (02)99056316.
