This 2005 996 911 RSR was first owned by David and Des Wall, they ran it in GT and Prod Sports here in Australia and also campaigned overseas - for example in Malaysia they finished 3rd in the 12hr there with Des, David & Barton Mawer driving. After the cars competition period was over and it was five years old, Richard Perini purchased the car and campaigned the RSR for an extensive period.
The focussed 996 has had some upgrades from factory spec; It started life with a 3.6 litre engine, we put a 4.0 Litre 997 RSR engine into it, which has around 550HP. We also have installed Bosch ABS and converted the sequential gearbox to paddle shift (which we are now changing), additionally it has traction-control and launch-control and a 997 dash tops off a very neat package.
Richard Perini had completed hundreds of events in this car, he has won multiple Porsche Club New South Wales super sprint series and also won the CAMS super sprint series in his class.
