1972 911 ST road-racer

Introducing the extraordinary PR Technology build collaboration that redefines the restomod landscape. This extensive build has transformed a 964 Carrera 2 Coupe into a unique 1972 911 ST road-racer, prioritising extreme driver engagement. With unprecedented attention to detail, Duck & Whale's astonishing styling package creates exterior and interior aesthetics that embrace the psychedelic sensibilities of the 1970s while outright rejecting the tired clichés and recycled retro tropes dominating the “outlaw” genre.

A standout feature is the 15-inch Fuchs-style wheels bearing Michelin TB 15 Classic tarmac rally tyres. These provide a unique, period-correct stance and driving response that is light years ahead of the modern 17 or 18-inch rims and low-profile tyres typically seen on these cars. Similarly, the 3.6-litre engine with individual throttle bodies, tuned for high RPM performance, delivers a rewarding driving experience and the signature PR Technology road-race soundtrack.

Inside, distressed tobacco leather perfectly complements a radical ‘70s era multi-colour cloth trim and biscuit square weave carpet, eschewing both the drab black-on-black RS look and the overly styled zaniness of some high-end builds. The wooden 390mm Nardi steering wheel delivers an authentic classic Porsche driving experience and provides a clear view of the instrument panel, steering clear of the chunky boy-racer go-kart wheels favoured by many builders.

Signature custom features appear in dozens of tiny details, from the horn button and unique grille badge to the custom tool roll and leather document wallet.
