This event is an ideal opportunity for competitors to enjoy unrestricted track time at One Raceway while benefiting from guidance provided by motorsport experts, including a special guest: Barton Mawer, 5 Times World Time Attack winner and lap record holder at Sydney Motorsport Track. Bart is backed up by Edan Thornburrow, experienced Trans Am and Porsche racer.
The day starts with a track walk, and will be run in both circuit directions, clockwise “Wakefield” direction in the morning and in the anti-clockwise “Shelley” direction in the afternoon, with a bonus Motorkhana - pulled from the Motorsport Australia Motorkhana Championship files - held on the skid pan in the late afternoon for those who really want to mix up the day.
Run in an open pitlane format; allowing you to pace yourself without sessions and go out on circuit when you are ready; not when the session starts! The day is limited to 25 entrantsto ensure you have maximum time on the track, plenty of space and maximum time with the instructors in your vehicle.
Gourmet buffet style lunch supplied by Roses Café is included.
This event is PERFECT for new comers, to get accustomed to the track in their own time. Bring your friends and family along to spectate, and make it a social event - join us for a dinner after at Home98 Thai.
The event is held at One Raceway, directions here. A Motorsport Australia licence, or a day licence can be purchased at One Raceway on the day.
Entrants should arrive by or before 8:15am and gather in the corporate room for your driver briefing.
Our staff will be staying at the Post House Motel in Goulburn on Friday night, we will be having dinner at the restaurant in their premises, Home98 Thai, from 6:30pm that entrants and guests are invited to attend.
